I've had a diabetic friend who cannot drink regular soda (suger content), so he'll eat quite the high calorie meal, but need to drink diet soda, or he'll die or something like that.

What's even more funnier than binging and order diet, is binging and ordering a half diet/half regular... man that's a joke.

Because after you drink Diet long enough, you stop caring much for regular soda...

But a Pop Tart is a Pop Tart is a Pop Tart, & a Popcorn snack cake will NEVER taste like a Pop tart, if you eat them for 10 years. Neither Will Pizza taste like a Salad.

Why do you care?

Did you see that 60 minutes show that was about how a diet soda will make you fatter than a regular soda?

Something about how the artificial sweetener changes the way your body processes other foods.

Well I'm not fat, but even when I eat like crap I wash it down with Diet Coke because thats the type of pop I prefer. Once you switch to a diet brand, non-diet brands taste terrible.

Diet colas are sweetened with an articficial sweetener that is hundreds of times sweeter than sugar. Thats how they can sweeten it with so few calories, they only need to use 100th as much as they would with sugar. Once you are used to the super-sweet sweetener, plain old sugar in your pop tastes weird.

TSST, CRACK, GLUGLUGLUGLUGLUGLUGLUGLUGLUG, AHHHHHH!! Pass me another can of diet sodie pop someone....

Why not? Why take in more empty calories?

I'm not fat, but I still have a diet Coke with fast food. There's just reason to drink down another 300 calories in a huge Coke.

Lots of people prefer the taste of diet soda. Soda with sugar tastes like syrup to me.

Why do some people have to worry about other people's size? Especially when not all of the heavy people can help it. But I would not expect such a shallow mind to be able to think that deeply about something before spouting off ugliness. Walk a couple miles in their shoes before you get your jollies by making fun of them.

It's because they think Diet Sodas are healthy and they're damn wrong. They thing Diet Sodas can balance their diets out.

Because we unconsciously want to continue with the American nutritional suicide plan. In addition to junk food, and gross servings of healthy food, that plan calls for more aspertain to produce more formalin.*

*All this is needed to embalm those precious fat cells we have worked so hard to produce.
