It always happens... Randall Cunningham, Steve Young, Doug Williams... All the QB's that thought they were Running backs get hurt. Either enough to kill their performance, or end their careers.
Manning stuck to the pocket against a great Falsons Defence, and overcame to early pics to lead the Giants to 5 scoring drives. Vick had one good play. One. Dunn had one good play as well. That was it. That game could have easily been 27-3. or 27-0. Vick cant be the whole team. He needs to sit in the pocket and go through the recievers before he takes off. I really like him, I dont want to see him get hurt. So, I hope he matures fast!

Heaven help the Falcons if he stops running, cuz the man can not throw the ball worth a damn. The only danger in Atlanta's offense is the X factor that he brings to the table. If Vick doesn't scramble you might as well put in Matt Schaub at least he can read a defense.

the secret to, beating the FALCONS is, containing Michael Vick. (actually, I dont think its a secret anymore) I like the way He scrambles to buy more time to get an open receiver but, when you are the quarterback, eventually, you have to pass the ball. remember, Randall Cunningham or, Cordell "Slash" Stewart ?
they were great runners too but never did a lot to improve their passing game. if Vick does this, I think We will be watching Him for many years to come.

he wouldnt be the same vick if he didnt run and they would half to change their play book if they did decide to make him a pocket QB as they made plays around him and his running game and thats the one thing that keeps thier team alive is the fact he can run and some what throw the ball so if they killed his running game it would also kill michael vick..

Fact is, he's an incredible athlete. Nobody can win all the time, and it's a team sport. You dislike for him does not take that away. He will be a Hall of Famer, and with maturity and age, the running will slow down and his other abilities will be showcased. For now, his feet are his "strongest" asset, so he uses them.
