I'm curious about what caused you stress because it's probably different than what stressed me out.

For me it was trying to find the medical director of my study to help me answer a question that I needed to send to a company that was trying to put together a price estimate for us. And I had a meeting to attend (and take notes for, so I couldn't skip it) when I should have been tracking down the information.

And you probably don't care about any of that ;)

Today was not very stressful. I guess if I experienced any at all, it was trying to put together a speech I had to give after work. However, that came together and all was well.
Work is really the least stressful part of my life right now. (How sad is that)?? :)

I work for such a great company, that I have the least amount of stress in my day is related to my job. I have my own office, so no one puts anything on my desk. That use to really tick me off at my previous employment. They would have no clue what to do with stuff, so they'd throw it on my desk when I would turn my back. I finally gave up after the piles would cover my whole desk. I can say, today, I experienced zero work related stress.

The biggest problem at my job today was being informed about a meeting that will take place tomorrow between myself, a second female co-worker, and a third male co-worker. A complaint was made against the male co-worker by the second female. The complaint is overt sexual harrassment. I sat in with my co-worker who made the initial complaint primarily for support.

The complaint was brought to the attention of the young man accused of sexual harrassment, and I had to look at him all day. We work in a very small area. And the co-worker who actually made the complaint was not at work today. It was very uncomfortable.

Hey sometimes you just have to get it off your chest. Don't fell bad at all. My stress factor is that no one at my job has any balls but me. it's just a big mess, employees are steeling or hooking up people. I even had a couple of people try to whore themselves out of our drive thru. Just to let you know, there will always be something to stress you out, so hold on, and try to enjoy the ride.

Currently, I'm checking a set of structural steel working drawings (A0 size about 30 pages). I need to confirm that the engineering drawings tallys or corroborate with it.
The problem is.. the designer use English system (In feet and inches) and I'm use to metric system now (meters and millimeters). Just imagine translating Chinese to English language.
All the computation on weights I must convert them first...
Gosh, it makes my world spin.

1) Constant travel, in USA and occasionally out
2)Unrealistic deadlines and expectations; I am convinced that many managers and customers feel that is it is a badge of honor to overwork employees and hang a guilt trip on them for unrealistic expectations to get the most for the company buck and act the hero. The result is burnout and stress
3) The corporate gadfly and ladder climber who take advantage of co-workers.

The biggest problem at my job is back biting and gossiping. It doesn't stress me out so much as it makes me want to get another job and get away from such petty people.
