a girls birthday is coming out on Friday and i like her so i bought her a necklace shaped like a heart with amythest-pink in the middle. Think that she will like it?

I'm sure she will love it. be prepared for any outcome, ask her if you can have a moment alone together and suprise her with the necklace. Ask to go to a quiet area(if possible) and let her know you like her (whether you want to tell her you'd like to make it more like girlfriend/boyfriend or just friendship is something you have to decide within yourself) after everything is said no matter what the outcome perhaps ask or get her & yourself a drink and wish her a happy birthday and have a great night.

Fact that girls like flowers, chocolates, teddy bears and pink heart shaped sugar coated crap is actually a myth!
If you are buying her this necklace, make sure it is gold! Else, just buy her the latest cell phone. She will like you more.

It sounds like a pretty thoughtless gift. Men always go for jewelery when they don't know what else to get. Woman know this...Try to find out what her passion is...
For Example: if you draws...get her a nice sketch book with pencils and an art book
Ask one of her girlfriends that know her. Girls always exchange secrets...do your homework..the bigger the effort you make the more she will love it.

I am a high maintenance kindof chick and I would DIE if someone gave it to me....unless I was still young. If you are under 21 then OK...you are excused. If not, TAKE IT BACK AND BUY HER SOMETHING MEANINGFUL...Someone else said it well, find out what she really likes and buy something she will find interest in...don't be cheesy with gaudy jewelry....UGH

Sure she will just love it!!! Amethyst are purple most times, but, they are a stone of GOOD LUCK!! She is one lucky girl. IF she does not like it!!! tell her to GET LOST!!
