I didn't just cry, I bawled, I thought it was a wonderful movie, and Adam Sandler did an outstanding job.

I almost did near the end
It was a surprisingly touching movie when his character reaches older age
I would recommend watching it, but if not, continue...

Because Adam's character is in stand by mode, he is very cold to his family, so adam watches his past where in the office his son who has grown is mystified by his dad's emotional behaviour. Then Adams charater's dad comes in and tells him that he would like to finally show him the trick with the coin. Adam shouts he already knows how it works, that he's always, known. His father leaves the office, tears coming down his eyes, and the next day dies of a heart attack.
You know what, there are a lot of scenes at the end you have to see, so rent it again.

My friend and I just watched that on DVD. We were both a little tired and we cried twice. I was so ashamed that I cried at an Adam Sandler movie. We both felt like idiots.

We went from rolling on the floor to very serious by the end. I wasn't expecting that at all at the end. Both my husband and I had to fight back the tears. He did an awesome job in that dying scene. I think one of the funniest parts was when the dog was fast fowarded to go potty and they made that fake fart sound. We had just put our daughter to bed and I was afraid my husband was gonna wake her up because he was screaming with laughter into the pillow. I made him rewind that part 4 times. I don't usually like bathroom humor, but that was so funny.

I almost did but I fought back tears. It would only give my kids more ammo to tease me.
