To tell you the truth man, I don't care what the experts say. They hardly ever know what they're talking about. They're a bunch of biased idiots who aren't any smarter than the fans. Last year, the only team they seemed to talk about were the Detroit Red Wings, who didn't even win the first round of the playoffs.

I think that they might alter their predictions. However, I don't think they'll give Dallas the credit they deserve. Since they don't like the Stars, they'll do everything in their power to make it sound like it was more luck than anything.

I'm a die hard Dallas Stars fan, and have been ever since I started having a passion for ice hockey probably somewhere around the age of 10. The stars are a very underrated team. Despite playing in a city with teams like the Dallas Cowboys, and the Dallas Mavericks, they still attract a sell-out crowd almost every game.

In short, Dallas will go where Dallas will go.

GO STARS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

>>>>>>>>> John,d, What the heck is your problem with the dallas stars? This is the second time Iv'e seen you predict my stars will lose to the Phlyers in the finals.

>>>>>>>lidstromnumber1fan, why don't you just shut up? Your team's goaltending didn't the get wings any farther, than Turco's did in the playoffs last year. Besides, Turco is playing better so far this season than he's ever played since becoming a Dallas Star.

Unfortunately my Stars lost to the Sharks. They are now tied 5-1. But you know this really is too soon to judge anything. They have a lot of games left to play. They have some outstanding offense and Turco has played awesome as well. Guess we'll just have to see what the season holds for our Stars. I'm hoping for all the way though!

GO STARS!!! and go J.W. !!

5-0 wow! Look there is 82 games in the regular season so you really can't judge on a team this soon. However I think the experts are all on numbers and don't cout in everything that happens during a hockey season. Last year experts said the sabres were ranked 22nd and we got to the eastern conference finals!

i think its still a alittle early to say one way or the other, i do admit the stars start was somewhat surprising. If they remain healthy, theyll continue on the road they are on. I remember a few years ago, the flames had a very simular start, looked very promising, but once mid november hit they began to slide, mainly due to injuries, they ended up missing the playoffs that year. Come November and December, will be the time we will see who is going to be in the playoffs

Easy big fella. We're only a handful of games into the season. All teams will have their low points and key injuries. We'll see how it shakes out in the end.

For the record: I'm a Wings fan and am hopeful, yet reluctant to boast with Hasek in net this year.

Dallas will do great in the regular season as always. Then the playoffs will come and Marty Turco will choke as usual.

i think the experts arefull of poop. but dallas wont hold on long, they have had alot of luck, not to say they dont have some skill, just not enough to get to the big money round.
