Seal the holes where it got in and it will die and that small of a creature probably would not smell much after dying or put out rat poison.......

I swear by peppermint oil. I had my R.V parked next to a huge wood pile full of brush for a 6 month period over the winter and not one mouse turd was ever found. All rodents are highly allergic to peppermint oil, so the mouse will find it's way out and not return. You can purchase it at any GNC or most health food stores, just put some on a cotten ball, then place cotten balls in all corners of the house or in other places a mouse may look for food( behind stoves and refrigerators). Not only will it get rid of your mouse, it is non toxic and your house will smell good!! Trust me on this!!! Mice will eat through almost anything, spray foams are a very minor obstacle, if holes are found, first fill holes with steel wool, then use the spray foam!! Good luck!!

I like those mice feeders where they eat the poison and die.

But, you still have to figure out how they got in there and seal it up.

Look at your eaves and venting under the roof slope - are the screens still in good condition, how about the openings around your pipes (under the sinks, coming into the house for your cables, etc)? Get the spray foam to fill in those holes.

I also like the idea of putting the cat in the wall...lol

EASIEST way for me.
When I moved into this current house, it had a rodent problem. I fought it for 3 months until my friend told me about somthing that worked for him on his farm.

It took care of the problem in one day with the first results in 5 MINUTES! I swear.

http://ratzapper.com I swear by this thing. I bought the classic first and it took care of all my problems.

Three years later, after hurricane Katrina, the neighborhood went to heck and the lots were being overgrown so I bought the new ULTRA model but have not had to use it yet.

I'M WAITING..... :)

"CAT",,, infinitely more patient than any mouse,,or human apparently,,,smiles.

DO NOT GAS the wee beast, or prepare to endure a short term foul smell as the critter decomposes.

I suspect a check of possible entry points might be a consideration as well.

You can get these things that plug into any outlet and they emit a high frequency sound (inaudible to the human ear) Rodents don't like it and will vacate pronto. They are pretty cheap, so you can put a couple of them around the house . . .
