failed financially etc. One example is one of my realtives, he was so good at school yet in failed in the real world. Some people who did fail at first ended up suceeding in the end. But we also have to achknloge that some people still do well, even after doing well in school. Also some High School Drop Outs still get poor income. My Question is what, is your view on this topic?

there is a message in your thoughts, I've made a life's study of the underachievers dilemma, u are locked in as if you were cloned in 30 kids going nowhere, all the teacher had to have was the the money kids taken care of the rest of you could go to hell, nothing less exciting that to find your self sitting behind the three kids that will write your local history because of their families shear wealth and clout alone, if you were type "A" hyperactive you might as well kill your self as to living in hell for all the years that it takes to get the few in your class to rise above all and seat them selves to the good life, I'm going to drop this now there is soooo much i could write but there isn't enough time to show you the handicaps of not being the right person at the right time. but if you are a recording device you remember it all and the play backs suck

Many people are fortunately suited to the academic life, and succeed as teachers but fail in the real world.
Many people have talents that aren't saleable, as well.

The majority of people in other cultures must learn to find happiness where they can, and it's seldom in material things, because most of the population of the world has little.

I needed to redefine "poverty" when I moved to SE Asia. Many of the people here are so wealthy in love and spirit, but have little to show outwardly, except their smiles and friendship.

My Mom taught Me there's "street smart" and "book smart". Book smart's okay if you're going to keep your nose in books all the time, and for theoretical knowledge. A lot of it is necessary. But street smart is vital if you're to survive in everyday life. I'm not talking "life on the street", but the real everyday world. How people interact, deal with each other, live in the working world, set priorities, budget for real life living... and to learn to spot when someone is screwing you over!

All school before college is just to prep you for college.

It is not enough education, especially in today's public schools, to be successful in the real world.
