I used to be scared to death to mess with one for fear that I would screw stuff up. I finally got the courage to take the chance & screw up the library's computer. Now,I have my own & do pretty well. Taught myself. Haven't messed up anything yet.

I didn't, but I do know how to spell and type, the rest is trial
and error. I probably have made every mistake in the book
using a computer but thats one or my way of learning.

I got my computer when I was 12 and just taught myself... I just pressed a whole bunch of buttons, tested out some stuff, and in the process, I learned! Trial and error...
