im not really into conspiracy theorys but i watched a film on google video earlier called 9/11 mysteries ,i watched the film and as much as it was slightly one sided all the "evidence" does point to it being more plausible through many reasons that the buildings were blown up ,now i like to look at both sides and make up my own mind for a while now ive slammed alot of these conspiracy theory sites about 9/11 because of the way they go about it and i thought it was just a load of old rubish but i watched this film and although i couldnt say hand on heart that the US goverment did do it there is a lot of questions to be answered,but also alot of questions to be answered that the film didnt look at because it did for me put a phew little holes in there argument ,if youved watched it tell me what you think if you havent ,watch it and have a look at things from all angles i gotta say if it was an inside job then the truth will come out any way you could never cover something like that up .

fa fuk sake just watch the film its not gonna change mind but it isntgonna kill you either!!!!

I don`t see how you could get that many Americans to go along with it that it would take even with a private corporation helping. I do think he knew it was coming and used it for political gain. This video is not a fake and is on the record but I think Bush is just trying to wow the audience with a story.

Yes i do beleive that the US gov had something to do with it, and well done babieeddie for asking the "what happened to the pentagon plane" cos ive watched the footage a million times and I still cant spot a 757 amidst the still standing front wall of the pentagon.

And for those who are sceptical about it a 757 is 128 ft across from wing tip to wing tip and stands 41ft high from floor to top of the tail fin the pentagon is only 71ft tall (to the apex) surley if a 757 crashed into the pentagon no amount of security doors will stop it creating a F**KING LARGE HOLE, the hole in the front wall at the time of the fire crews getting there was approx 18ft x 16ft how the hell do you squeeze a 757 into that, also how many americans who live in and around the area noticed a 757 flying only 10ft off the ground???

And to those who declare theyve seen the footage a hundred times from all angles havent watched it in slow motion as if you did you would see an explosion go off before the plane hits the building (that happens on both buildings) also you would note that there is something a bit suspisious about the huge thing on the under-carriage of the plane that hit the south tower, and also the bombs wouldnt have to be set off at the exaxt time the planes hit 100,000lbs of airplane fuel i think is enough to trigger the detonation!!!

You may question also how building no 7 actually caught on fire and why didnt the sprinkler system put the fire out? and where in any reports do they explain how building 5 and 6 caught fire and collapsed!!!

but I think the most damming evidence comes from the official footage released from the pentagon showing the "airplane" crashing into the building, the time stamp in the bottom left frame is dated 12/09/06 explain that one away???

And you may wonder how they identified the bodies in the pentagon crash ny there finger prints when the temperatures in the fire are enough to vaporize wood and aluminium!!!

But hell I guess im just another crazy fool who cant spot things properly!!!

I watched the film and it is very good, Yes there are holes, like when they claim the two towers fell at free-fall speed, then later you see them fall from another angle and some of the steel falls much faster than the rest of the building. BUT there are some very interesting titbits.

What I want to know is, when thermate residue was discovered in the basements, where did it come from?
The official version of events (the official conspiracy theory) does NOT answer that!

In fact IF the events happened as the opfficial versions says, then there would NOT have been thermate residue at all. WHERE DID THE THERMATE RESIDUE COME FROM? Thermate residue ONLY comes from controlled demolision.

Even the members of the official commision have admitted several errors in their report, including contradictions in the timelines of what happened.

We just want the truth, and when the official channels keep changing their minds about what actually happened that day, we know they haven't given us the truth.

I'd say yes and no. No emphatically in the conspiracy sense your referring to. Yes in the sense that they certainly underestimated and/or ignored the determination of the terrorists. It is not wrong to believe that your government is capable of a cover up. Uncle Sam had strong evidence of terrorist activity in the New York area when TWA flight 800 was bombed out of the sky. The whole story about an in tank sensor shorting is bull. The FAA was even pressured to issue an airworthiness directive to all owners of 747's to repair this item. I have always been saddened that no Boeing engineers ever came forward to dispel the fallacy of fuel tank sensor igniting the fumes. George Stephanopulous, in an interview immediately after 911 admitted as much. The look on his face said clearly that he knew he messed up. Upon his admission I immediately called the TV station to get a copy of the tape and guess what none were available. Nor have I ever been able to purchase one since. Conspiracy within the halls of power is always a very real possibility. An informed and educated population is the best defense against them.

I haven't watched that one, but I have seen many others. The conclusion I've come to is NO, the US government had nothing to do with it. Here's why:
IF the government was reponsible, then they would have to bribe all the people who were on the planes, all the family members of the people who were on the planes, all of the people who saw the planes... et cetera et cetera. A conspiracy like that would take YEARS to come up with, and even longer to execute. Which would mean that it would have had to have been thought up around the time that LBJ was in office, because that's about the same time that J Edgar Hoover was head of the FBI. Why is that? Because Hoover conducted many wiretaps.
Now, considering the fact that we had a Democratic president in office from 1992-2000, and changes in the Senate, not to mention the FBI and CIA (and the NSA!), that would mean that either A) Clinton, former and current members of Congress and the Senate were in on it, as well as all of the FBI and CIA. Or B) That there was no conspiracy theory because something like that would have leaked.
Did the government have prior knowledge that the US was going to be attacked? YES! But just like Pearl Harbor, they didn't know when, where or how. The ONLY way 9/11 could have been prevented would have been to shut down all flights to, from and within the US. That wouldn't have made much sense, now would it? And then when there was no terrorist attack, the Bush administration would have been at fault.
Now, if there truly WAS a conspiracy, don't you think the goverment would be going to greater lengths to shut down the accusations? Loose Change has been around for awhile now, and Michael Moore hasn't been assassinated yet either.

i have seen it and if there were bombs planted inside the towers then it could have been anyone. personally i dont think that our government had anything to do with it. but there are so many details of the event i probably will never know for sure. Also i doubt that it was some of the terrorists that helped hijack the plane. Even though they were living in America for a year, it still would be hard for them to get in there with bombs. i would also imagine that people would be a bit suspisous of them. no matter i think that the film brought up a lot of good points and interesting information that should be studied and carfully thought about. but in the end you must make up your own mind about what you think really happened.

I've heard this before - I'll try to put my opinion nicely. One theory is that the tower was collapsed in a controlled explosion to avoid the problem of it hitting other buildings while it collapsed. Sounds plausible to me. The building did kind of collapse straight down, though it was hit on one side. Not a likely thing to happen as anyone who's played Jenga will tell you.

There's also the question of the disappearing plane in the Pentagon...

Can I just comment from reading everyone's opinions, how much ignorance there is in America. Just because it is the almight America, it doesn't mean bad things don't happen and can't happen. Maybe the government did know it was going to happen (yes, maybe they knew, NOT that they put explosives in the building) and maybe they didn't but either way, I think America and its citizens need to take the blinkers off and realise life (and other opinons) do exist outside America's walls and the sooner the U.S realise this then the better things may become. Another thing - don't believe anything you read in the papers!!

Also, well said FUS, people are so rude, again, ignorance is sometimes the cause of people lashing out. Listen to other people and we all may learn something (and there would be less war!)

Now there are many conspiracy theories that could have panned out as easily as not such as JFK, this one is the most disgusting one to date! Ive heard one of these types of people try to convince me of this and not only was I able to blow holes in his entire argument, I honest to God wanted to blow a hole in the side of his head. How (!#$(*(*!#(*& disrespectful can you be that you would say your theory is right and people didnt die! For example, the plane that was supposedly "not" a AA Airline plane. They said it was an unmarked airline all chrome. Well hello there,most AA airlines are completely chrome minus the one Blue A and The one red A. I cant get into details but look up the facts, these people are *#!()*&$) just trying to blame something else on the govnt, repub, dem, ind, it doesnt matter, they'll go after God if they can find a reason.

How many times and from how many angles did we see the planes hit the towers and explode? Thousands? Did the govt. set their explosives in the Towers for the exact moment that the planes hit? Why would they need to explode the Towers when the planes could clearly do the job? Did they blow up the pentagon too? There are a lot of other conspiracies theories out there that make a lot more sense than this one so you might want to go research them than waste your time on this one.
