I grew up with dogs and I loved them but when I moved to an apartment cats were easier to care for. I didn't have to worry about walking them and taking them out to do their business. Both are great pets.

Dog lover, they're more playful and cuter.
I'm also allergic to cats, but I still like em.
Although cats are fun to sleep with and all, I stil love dogs. Especially Beagles or any other mixed breeds.

dogs are ok but i dont have time to have one I like cats better put the food and water out make sure the litter box is clean and you can be gone for a week! You cant do that with a dog.

I have both and have always loved them for different things. But deep down I prefer cats over dogs.

I prefer dog lovers. Anyone who can love an animal who licks its testicles, eats its own feces (and often the feces of others, for that matter), and uses the sniffing of hind-quarters as an acceptable greeting is OK by me!
I think if a lady can love that in her animal, and still let it sleep in the bed with her, then I stand a much better chance of not grossing her out with my personal grooming habits.

I like dogs, especially huskies, but am a cat lover - they have the best instinctive reactions. AV IT!!

Cats are too aloof. They never really LOVE you the way a dog does. I could never live without a dog.
And I tend to stop breathing around cats, but minor detail...
