Because the Democratic Party is less evil. Republicans are greedy and materialistic thieves. They take without giving and advance only the wealthy. They have adopted the weak minded in the Christian movement. The hillbilly illiterate Christians. And feed them the stuff they want to hear.

Because they are closer to my views than the Republicans. Wish we had a better system of government that allowed third parties to have a say, but until we do, it is the lesser of two evils, and that choice is easy for me. It has been a while since the Dems had some joy, but there will be some this November. I'm coming home a day early from a vacation to make sure that Satan's child, Rick Santorum, goes down.

Because I'm stupid, uninformed, and worship the likes of Howard Stern, Michael Moore, Cindy Sheehan, Rosie, and Babara. I have no morals and I do whatever suits me at the time. I don't care what others think and only do whatever gets me ahead, or head, as in Clinton's case. I let my kids smoke dope because a little weed never hurt anyone. Besides, how is my 14 yr old bisexual daughter from my third unwed wife supposed to pay for her second abortion if she can't sell drugs? Oh the troubles in my life.

At one time , I believed in the ideal that democrats stood for honesty , had a moral compass and understood the working class. Then as I grow older in life, I found a group mean spirited people that are morally lacking , embrace any cause that will get them votes and speak out of both sides of their face.

I just want to be able to live in America and be PROUD of being a white , Christian American - is that so bad?

I love the because I'm not a white Christan answer. All the Dem's seem to fall into their stereotypes well. Since I am white,work,support our armed forces, stand at the pledge of allegiance, fly an American flag from my front porch, hang a blue star in my window (sorry you Dem's don't know what that means) and love this country and know I was blessed to be born in America. I could never be a Dem. Thank god for that.
