I was in labor with my twins for 6 days. I was 5 cm and having contractions every 3 - 5 minutes for 6 days at the hospital before giving birth.
My daughter came in about 17 hours of labor and almost 3 hours of pushing.

I'm a mother of 3, my first was two and a half weeks late. I walked around dilated to a 3 for those two weeks. They induced me by braking my water and she was born 4 hours later. My second was on time and I was in labor with her about 5 hours. My son was a couple weeks early and his labor was about 5 hours also. They were all easy labors.

My exwife had 3 children. The fastest was 3 hrs 3 minutes. The longest was 12 hrs and the other was in the middle, so no help there. I've heard nurses talk about they're friends being in labour for 40 hrs. Hope that helps. P.S. That's not the norm though, so expect less than 24 hours realistically.

Well you are probably not going to believe this but I have 5 children I was told by my doctor that I have probably been in labor with all of my children for about 12 hours, Here is the part you are not going to believe, I never have felt a contraction in my entire life so I have no idea how long I have really been in labor, my fourth child I went to the hospital for spotting and found out that my son had already crowned and 10 minutes later there he was, I have never had any sort of drugs just no pain at all I fell asleep in labor with my first, I played cards in labor with my second, played games with my third, my fourth I already told you my fifth I just sat and chatted with family until they broke my water and then used petosin and kept chatting away until finally she came
