My Jerry Helmet needs a good buffing and polishing ....any ideas?

I would recommend using household silver cleaner and some steel wool. When you 're finished with the steel wool, the surface will bear dull sheen. Then get a can of carnuba wax and apply the wax in a clockwise motion. When the wax has dried to a haze, remove the wax in a counter clockwise motion. Wax on, Wax off. This should do it. Your Jerry Helmet should be like new in no time!
