my dvd recorder tells me recording prohibed

actually these people are idiots..... They want to record FROM VHS TO DVD.... to do this you need a video capture card. This allows you to record the video to your computer. Once it is on your computer you can burn it to dvd using a program like Nero.. There are lots of tutorials online if you do a search, say from yahoo! :-D

if you use a separate vcr and dvd recorder, you need to connect the vcr to the dvr..if you have a combo recorder, you should make sure you are using the proper blank dvd either dvd+r or dvd-r or rw..you must use the compatable blank format....good luck..

yeah because Disney and all other studios put a decryption on DVDs so people like you cant copy them !!!

The movie is coded so it can't be copied.
