There is one key thing that everyone left out.
Yes, you can get E.coli in the vaginal canal from wiping from back to front, but there are other ways for it to get there.
How do women most commonly get UTI's? From having sex. Everything is located so close together down there that it is easy to get cross contamination.
A big No-No is having anal sex and going directly to vaginal sex. This will definitely put E.coli in the vaginal canal!

I thought your question was a joke untill I looked it up. Turns out that if you are menopausal it can be a pesky thing to get rid of. Make sure you take all of the antibiotics, if you don't you will be going through this again. The woman whose article I read said there is this pill she has to take after sex to try and prempt Vag E-Coli from coming back though I will not she said its not 100% . It's called

I am just wondering... what does e-coli do to a vagina or a visitor? I never heard of e-coli being a problem for genitailia.

I think this is called trichomaniasis(not sure of the spelling). You need to see your Dr and get a script, learn better hygiene and say no to anal sex where he re-enters your vagina with washing off 1st.

how do you get e-coli up there? thought it was something you got from eating bad meat? have you had sex with a raw sausage? tried it with a cooked one once, but it had condom on it.

When you wipe after urinating do you wipe from front to back, or back to front? I use to get it all the time and it was from me wiping from back to front when you do that you bring the bacteria from your anus and introduce it to your vagina. Have you seen the dr. about it?
