What's the psychology term for when a person dislikes another person for a quality that they themselves have? For example, the person who is usually the funny guy at a party that sees another guy cracking jokes in a group of people and gets angry. Thank you =)

sorry, i dont even know if there is a formal psyhcological term for this but another way of describing it is :

a typical Sagittarius trait - when you see another Sagittarius it can be like looking at yourself in the mirror and problems that you never even realised you had can seem more apparent. This can repulse the Sagittarian no end.

I think it is more like:: I get angry sometimes when a friend had just "all the right answers or thinks she does"...the reason it makes me mad is because I tend to be that way...that defect of character is one of mine.
