In a way thats true, but that doesn't mean that we should have more biggots. There are people who are scared to come out because of how dangerous it is. I mean...i have to carry weapons in my pockets while at school because i get followed home everyday. It's true, they do make us stronger, but i would rather them be supportive, that way, we can fight for equal rights and not have to worry getting beat up to death.

The bashers think we're still weak because we only have strength in numbers. But get one thing straight, bashers: Strength in numbers can only work when the principle being fought for is just and rational. That's what makes us stand out from groups, such as the KKK. Any basher may stand alone and feel powerful when bashing us. But get this. YOU are alone. And WE are united. NOW, how SAD is that? Think about it.

No I do not think we should thank the bashers. Nor do I think that reacting to them does more than fuel the fire of their hatred.
I have been a political activist for many years. I believe in freedom of speech. I also believe that the rules for Yahoo answers prohibit the activities of those you are speaking of here. It is apparent this person has more clones than Carter has pills.
Continuing to report will hopefully stem the tide of the hate mongers, since they are in violation of the rules here. To cease answering them would cost what? 2 points? A small price to pay to give them no satisfaction. (you can rate them with a thumbs down and report them without answering their questions that are not questions.)
So put your points where you mouth is, and quit answering them. Continue to report their violations, and continue to give them thumbs down .. but don't give them any fuel.. with time they might actually find someone else to project their hate onto.
A true unified action would be that none of their/her idiocy received any answers, but many many thumbs down, and many many reports.

If you mean the forum bashers who just babble out spiteful little comments... they're just standard trolls getting off on the attention. Thanking them is kinda like thanking a dog for waking you up by humping your leg.

It is past the point of amusment...it is boring. This one person fills the board day and night with fool's junk, crowds out intelligent questions...too bad it is now the main topic here..this place, you will have to admit, has become very boring. Good luck

Being powerful doesn't make it right. The Students Liberation Army, The Black Panthers and the Klu Klux Klan have all been powerful at one time, but none of them were right.

Why do you give "bashers" so much attention? Obviously you feel guilty and don't want to hear the truth because the truth hurts. Because if that was not the case then you would simply ignore their comments if you think your lifestyle is "right" and justified.

well, I'm not sure we should thank them for being such @**holes, but then, if it weren't for them, we wouldn't be as united against them.
they just don't realize that the more they yell and scream and point their little fingers, the more ridiculous, sad and stupid they make themselves look. I wonder if they realize they are nothing but laughing-stocks?
and, they can certainly dish it out....but they sure can't take it when we dish it back! pathetic trolls, all of them.
