Oh, that is a hard one. I don't know how old you are so it's hard to tell a person what to do.
If you are the weight you should then you should just ignore her. I know that is easy to say. When I was in high school I wore a size 7 and my sister was a size 1 so I was the fat one. Isn't that ridiculous. Needless to say I have always been insecure about my weight. It is just harder when it comes from a family member.
I was dating this guy one time and at the time I was the best I have ever looked. I was at his place one night and he picked up a workout magazine and started flipping through it. He came across this woman weightlifter and showed it to me and said something about wouldn't I look great if I worked out like that.
Anyway, what I am trying to say is if you are happy the way you are then try not to let anyone including your mom make you feel bad.

Most likely she is upset with herself about something and takes it out on you, either consciously or un.
You don't say how old you are or what your circumstances are, so the most judicious advice I can give you is to state calmly and very plainly to your mother that your weight is no longer a subject of discussion. When she brings it up again (and she will), repeat the statement and leave the room. It's not worth arguing over because you will certainly not get anywhere.
Good luck, you'll need it.

I know where you are coming from I have a step dad and my mom that for about 30 yrs they have criticised my weight, or what I eat, my looks you name it. I have learned to turn the other cheek because one day I know they will answer to the good Lord above on their action on how I was treated.

I'm really sorry that she does that to you... It's really not fair and downright mean. She is the one who needs to grow up. Just tell her that you don't think that you look bad and that if you start worrying about your weight, then you could develop a serious problem.. I know that sounds scary sweety.... so if your not comfortable with that.... just show her that you're eating healthy foods and excersizing 30minutes everyday. She is your mother and it's disrespectful to mouth off to her but you can just sit her down and tell her what you're really feeling.... that is actually the best thing to do... You will feel much better once you get it off your chest!

Ask her what she expects of you, and take it from there. After all, you ARE her daughter, aren't you? You live under her roof and until you turn 18 you remain her property, so who else should you turn to and who more does it concern? Otherwise, if you are a legal adult, ask her what she would do if she was in your situation. Take what advice you want and leave what you don't want. The rest becomes history.

One thing that I would do is to get a spiral and every time that she cuts on you about your weight put it in your spiral.
Do it in the form of date: time : where : what was said
after a few days sit down with her and show her what she is doing and how it makes you feel. Best of luck to you sister.

Tell her to leave you along. You like your weight and you don't need her putting you down. That is so mean.

Before you become the "spelling" police... do a spell check on your own questions now and then... "criticizing"?
