Is anyone familiar with near-sightedness + astigmatism, well if that person adds no-line biofocals, is the astigmatism corrected in the biofocals or must this person see every piece of paper as a pyramid??? This person has never had biofocals before so this person does not know? The person can read now just fine except the 8X11 sheet of paper is distorted not square and it is very distracting.

Astigmatism is corrected through whole lens. The reading portion of the noline (progressive multifocal), is likely either the wrong type, wrong position or both.
Go back to the dispensing office/store and explain your problem, it should be easy to have rectified.

My wife had rk and ak to cure both. not laser but the older kind.
When she walked out of the office she didn't need glasses.
She is older now and has to wear glasses to read, but so do all older people.
