The Army Corps of Engineers was on the radio this morning. They say that as of this point, they have repaired the walls and the levees are back to pre-Katrina levels. They are working to improve the levees even more so, and they hope that by the start of hurricane season next year, the levees will be able to sustain a Category 5 hurricane.
