That's a tough one, because the most accurate means of predicting a due date are scans that are done transvaginally at around 7-10 weeks, very early in the pregnancy. Unfortunately, most women do not have such scans unless there are problems. I would say that, since there was only a week difference, it would be around the end of December or beginning of January (between the 18 week ultrasound's findings and you LMP dating). The bigger you get, the less accurate the findings of ultrasounds are, so I would probably disregard the December 18th date. Your baby could have just gone through a growth spurt, or something. But, of course, nothing is for sure! I do wish you luck! Enjoy your baby!

You go by what your doctor says.
Which will mean you will generally go by your LMP. An ultrasound past the first few weeks (literally like 7 or 8 weeks) is NOT accurate in giving a due date, just a round about ballpark.
So your due date is Jan 4th until your doctor chooses to change it which, he/she won't.

I got 2 dates with my first baby too. I had been due on November 28th then it changed to November 18th after ultrasound. I had her on November 8th. I went by the second date, given by the ultrasound.
Good Luck! hope I helped.

well let me just tell you that after having 5 children of my own that none of them are accurate just pick one of the three dates and go by that. My first son was 2 weeks late, my first daughter was 2 weeks early, my second daughter was 6 days early, my second son was 8 days late and my last daughter was exactly 7 days late. with my first they actually induced me 3 times( I had petosin, gel, and then petosin) three days in a row before going into labor, my third child I used castor oil, and my last child they broke my water at the hospital and then had to use petosin again to put me into labor. so from experience you can see that no due date is accurate.

Sorry, but babies come when they are ready, due date or not! An estimate is as good as it gets. For all you know the baby could come two weeks earlier than the dr. says or two weeks later!
