No, there isn't. Even if you had the IP address it really wouldn't do much good, because most people use Dynamic IP addressing. Also, it's quite easy to send an email to somebody with someone else's email address, so even that might not help.

It takes someone with advanced knowledge and access to more information than the average user to be able to sort it out, when someone is sending trying to get around the system. Usually, the only ones who can get that kind of information are law enforcement, when they are tracking down criminals.

You can check the message header, unfortunately this can be forged to indicate a different sender. In reality I could send a message to you from your email address.

You may be able to search by someone's email addressing by searching online directories, such as Yahoo, AOL, etc.
