i just moved out, and im feeling a little bit naked without a gun out here. i was wondering if any one has any ideas?

If you live in the U.S.A, you can buy a rifle or shotgun when you are 18. You have to be 21 to purchase a handgun though. There are plenty of reasonably priced shotguns that would allow you to protect yourself nicely. If you must have a handgun, you could buy a black powder revolver, or a single shot for that matter. These can be ordered through Cabela"s. I bought two of them when I was 17. You can shoot them using Pyrodex, which is available at Wal-Mart.

You feel naked without a gun? Get a dog for protection or alarm your house.
Dont get a gun, you may use it on the wrong person just because you're scared.

Nervous people should not have guns! Too much chance somebody innocent will get killed. And are you aware that more gunowners are killed with their own guns than ever kill anyone else? Guns are dangerous under nearly all circumstances, but in the hands of someone who feels nakd without one, they are really lethal!

better wait till you are 21, you could get in BIG trouble if they found you with one! how about a taser or a good security system!
