This is going to sound weird, but I pulled down my sweats the other day and ripped the sucker out! It was a dangly one, not a CBR. Literally, the ball went straight through.

I've had this for near 10 years with no problems. What's the best way to heal it? I've been trying alcohol, peroxide, and neosporin for a week. I do have a sterilized dangly in it now until I can get a simple CBR.

Oh, I should clarify. I got this years ago as a treat to myself for losing 60 pounds. I'd like to keep it.

My friend got hers ripped out accidently. She just cleaned it out and let it heal by itself.

It may be necessary to take it out completely and allow your belly button to heal. The jewelry will only provide a constant irritation. Mine never did heal until I had surgery and they took it out. The surgery was not for that but an unrelated reason. Still, they had to take it out. Then it healed. You can always have it redone later, but it needs to heal to prevent infection and other problems.

Let it heal, then re-pierce, if you still want to take the chance.

Personally, I think it's dangerous, and quite unnecessary.

You are beautifully made just the way you are!
