can someone please give me an opinion on the iPod video 30gb please cause im planning on getting one !! thank u so much peoples who helped me...lol!

I have that very model. I have had a few problems with it, but it is still far superior to its nearest competitor.
The thing is, if you are ONLY going to listen to music, go for the Nano instead. The iPod video is cool to keep you entertained on a long flight, bus ride, or road trip, but is not very useful for working out or while you are at work because you are only going to listen to music.
I like my iPod video because I travel extensively, but if I didn't I would probably have opted for one of the Nanos. For daily use, the iPod video has a lot of stuff you aren't going to use --- unless you are just out to impress people.

the ipod video is so much more versatile than the others. In addition to music and movies, you can play games and listen to podcasts. It has more storage, also. I got one because I felt like I was just a tiny bit ahead of the technology, but only for awhile as something newer and better will be out soon, I am sure. It's hard to keep up!

depends on what u want do u want to have music or videos?
ipod video is more for traveling.
nano is more for doin what u got to do while listen to music
u cant watch videos while workin

great for workin out, but pretty much, i would just get a regular ipod nano, but if you must have thousands of songs go ahead.
