Abroath defeated Bon Accord 36-0 in the Scottish Cup on 12 September 1885. Jocky Petrie scored 13 goals in that game, also a record as the most goals by a single player in a British senior match. the victory is still the largest ever recorded & it's the world record.

Hmmm not sure about league football but I am pretty sure that for the World Cup, including qualifying the record is Australia 31-0 American Samoa from 2002.
