need more info, but check the total ignition system. check plugs and wires and distributor cap for any cracks or something out of the normal. Check the fuel system for water. what kind of car, year, make/model?

Just get a new car, or have a trained mechanic fix it, not the one from the dealership, because those are rip-offs

sounds like you could use some new spark plugs, wires and a new pcv valve. also try cleaning your carburetor or your fuel injection system.

not knowing what kind of car, if it has a EGR valve, try disconnecting the vacuum line
