I have put a cup of vinegar in the bottom rack and ran a cycle with the glasses, and it did help a bit, but the glasses are still so bad I can hardly see thru them. What else can I do?

Check your water temperature. It is probably not hot enough to dissolve the soap and grease and dried on food and is just spraying the dirt back onto the dishes. Jet-Dry will only take care of spotting, not filming.

Vinegar may help to clean out the dishwasher but if you dump a cupful of Tang into the dishwasher in the main wash and let it finish through the remaining cycles you will clean the dishwasher out.

The minimum water temperature in the dishwasher should be 120 degrees if you can get it up to 130-140 degrees it will clean much better and more sanitary.

You should also run the hot water in the sink until it is the hottest it can be before you start the dishwasher to ensure that you get the hottest water possible in the dishwasher to start.

Jet Dry makes a product called Dishwasher Cleaner. It may work better than vinegar.I was also told to switch from liquid soap to powder as liquid soap gums up the cleaning sensor.
