There is a part on Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock 2nd CD where Purple Haze turns into an improvization and then into VillaNova Junction. I keep playing it on my guitar ( the VanllaNova part) and I can't stop. Does anyone esle feel like it's a holy spot in recorded music?

I have seen the Woodstock film with Hendrix and I am an avid fan and have no clue as to what you are referring to but I thank you for making me aware of this. I will check it out. Anything that Hendrix did was a holy spot in recorded music. Even if he passed gass it had to have sounded great. I am not sure of measuring anything in terms of a holy spot but I understand what you are saying. There are too many things Hendrix did that sounded so revolutionary in terms of music. To think one moment would have stood out in so much great material is hard to imagine. Hendrix was a phenomena not to be matched.
