There could be several things going on here. One, you could be one of those people that have extra smelling musk glands. Two, you may not be washing well. Three, use a clean towel EVERY time. When a towel is use, old skin cells come off onto the towel then they begin to decompose and smell. So using a clean towel and washcloth each time is essential. Use a really good deodorant, not a generic brand. Be sure to actually rub many times with a good pressure under the arms, and between the legs and any other place that you may have excessive odor. Wash more than one time a day. You may need to see your family doctor if you have a condition. He should be able to help. This is a very embarrassing problem and can persist, but try to stay on top of it. Many people don't understand and just assume you are dirty. Get help if you need to.

maybe you could try using an antibacterial soap such as dial every day...bacteria and sweat cause odor and dial will help with that. if your clothes are clean and you bathe every day and wash your hair, you should be ok. if not, it could be a problem your doctor might possibly prescribe something for. i wouldn't use a lot of cologne either. that might make things worse! i think clean smelling is better than your cologne having a war with your body odor! best of luck to you.

I'm sure it's all deodorant related. First, if you're not using one, you should start using. Also, don't use the sprays, they're nothing like the ones you actually apply on the skin. And when you go to choose one, make sure it says "Antiperspirant" on it, which basically mean anti-sweating, and thus reduces the incidence of the smell.

You should see your doctor to see if you have an illness. Sometimes people have endocrine or exocrine problems that cause body odor. That has to be really hard for you. go to the doctor now before your psychosocial issues become too much to handle. it really will and probably does affect your social life.

Maybe it's what you eat? You know, if you eat foods with a lot of onions, garlic, fish, etc.....you will smell like it. It just comes out of the pores on your skin.

use cotton balls and rubbing alcohol and rub it in your arm pits - sometimes there are just some bacteria built up in there that regular anti perspirant can't do anything about.
it works!!
