The one and the same that lied in order to get everybody in congress to vote to go and attack and invade and occupy.
The one and the same that sent Powell to lie to the U.N.
The one and the same that continues to "stay the course" even though, now that congress knows the lies and wants to see an end to this God-awful war, refuses to budge.
The one and the same whose grandfather supported the Nazis, and financed Hitler's rise to power.

I guess we could blame Carter for throwing out the Shah and destabilizing Iraq and Iran back in the 70's. Then we could blame Reagan, Bush Sr. and Clinton for not doing anything about the constant growth of this hatred and all the terrorist acts that happened during their control.
In actuality, the last person you should blame would be our current president because he's the only one with the guts to do something about this mess that's been brewing for 30 years. And he did it knowing that he would be vilified and hated and called a devil for trying to bring peace to the world. Now I'm not a big fan of Bush and I don't think he's even close to the best president we've had, but I really admire what he's done about this problem. It's a messy problem, but if you've ever had termites in your home and let them get out of hand you'd have an idea why.
But ultimately, I guess we have to blame the terrorists the most because they are actually the ones doing the killing.

How about the factions in the radical Muslim society that are looking for a conflict with the West and who will not stop until they have one. The Imams cannot stand the thought of another westernized democracy in their midst. They will do anything they can to upset the democracy in Iraq, even if it means slaughtering millions of innocent Muslims. They are encourgaed by the loony lefties in this country who just can't get over the fact that Gore lost in 2000, Clinton did nothing about this situation in his entire 8 years and Albright's efforts were a joke.

George Bush and the Republican Administration are to blame. It has been proven that there were no weapons of mass destruction which was the reason they gave for going into Iraq.
After they took down the Saddam Hussein family they should have left as the people of Iraq wanted us to. The longer we keep our military there policing the Iraqi people, the more of our soldiers (both men and women) are not only going to be killed but maimed and crippled. The worst part is that George Bush, who is supposed to represent the people will not admit he was wrong.
At this time the people of the U.S. want us out and we are being ignored by this administration. Our only weapon is to vote them out and impeach G. Bush.

I blame the terrorist who came into Iraq once they heard that there was an open season on Americans and Sunni's or Shiite's in some cases. How can you not blame the radicals and the terrorist's for the killings.

War is hard. Lives are always lost when good battles evil. WW1 and WW2 and every other conflict America has had to face there was loss of life. No need to point the finger of blame. We must unite and defend our nation and win this and every war we find ourselves in. America had a chance to elect a new President if we felt the need. Unite and win... don't cut and run.

First the terrorists and then Bush indirectly, they never should have invaded if they did not have the resources to properly secure the country.

Well probably the thin sliver of extreme right wing Republicans who have managed things for the past 6 years. Its obvious by the way they have so divided the nation that we are incapable of stopping if we play politics by their rules. We have to stop listening to fear mongering by Cheney, and find ways to neutralize Bush if not impeaching him outright.
