having a picnic with someone you actually love is always a good start - but location is paramount so choose somewhere that is special to both of you - even if it is not romantic in its own right - a packet of greasy fish and chips on the front at Barry Island isn't everyone's idea of romance but it always works for me - if your with the right person XX

Him remebering your name for a start, followed by a nice place with scenery, just you and him. Petals placed all over the blanket some nice scented candles, something nice to eat and that special moment were you tune into each other and everything about the both of you that matters and nothing of our everyday stresses will get in the way. Have a great picnic thats what counts. It worked for myself and my wife.

No bugs or rain, 75 degrees, the smell of spring, a mature red wine, the sort of food that tastes good cold like pate', French bread, olives, cheese, smoked salmon, or what ever, a sunset view of mountains and rivers would be nice, and pleasant conversation with my special friend before the main course...
Ahhh

When my husband and I were dating, we went on a picnic and I brought chicken salad (large chunks of cooked chicken, halved green grapes, sliced water chestnuts, cashews, sesame seeds mixed with a mayonnaise/sesame oil dressing) and a nice crusty bread. Take fruit, chocolate and a nice wine or sparkling flavored water and you have a yummy spread.

I think it would be just awesome to have a picnic in a forest near a small stream and waterfall. I would like the meal to be cold chicken, grapes, a good red wine with real crystal glasses, a couple of kinds of cheeses and eclairs for dessert! Cloth napkins and a nice thick blanket to spread it all out on. And my husband sitting right beside me..... what a nice dream - thanks for putting it in my head! :)
