If you mean 11² = 121, then ² would be the exponent (power) on the base 11.

In general, when you have x to the n power, n is the exponent.

So in 2^5 = 32, 5 is the exponent.

The way you have asked your question, there is no exponent. Unless you mean the implied exponent of 1.

121^1 = 121, so you could say the exponent of 121 was 1.
