I will vote for every candidate who is a democrat. Some things to consider. Under democrats we balanced the budget and actually had a budget surplus. Under the democrats the military got its first pay raise, not just cost of living increase, since 1984. Under the democrats we had an intelligence group dedicated to Usama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda. And unless all of you other people that answered are super rich, the largest tax breaks were for the rich and for corporations. Try to find out how much the oil companies paid in taxes while they were making record profits. Probably not much, since they have that secret (a matter of national security) energy plan with VP Dick Cheney.

I have been researching the candidates in my area and have looked into their voting records and their stances of issues important to me. If I vote democratic, I feel that this country will be less secure because all of the democratic politicians in my area voted against funding our troops and against body armor for the troop. They are there, we have to do what we can to protect them regardless of what your position.

In regards to taxes, I pay way too much as it is and the democratic candidate has said that they will repeal some of the tax cuts to the "rich". I fall in this rich catagory because I work every day, therefore this is strike two against the democratic house and senate candidate.

The third strike against the democratic party is that they have not presented a plan, or I cannot find one on-line for either a national or local plan, as to how to solve the problems that we have in regards to terrorism and Iraq. What they say is very vauge and I want to know specifics as to what they will change. I believe the best defense is a good offense and we have one hell of an offense. If I remember under Jimmy Carter, our military was very weak from all of his cuts.

So while I don't like the republican candidates, I like the democratic candidates even less. So I am picking what I view is the lesser of two evils. Hopefully next time we will have better candidates on both sides.

I will in the congressional and Senate races I think it important to restore checks and balance to the government, one party rule has not been very good for the country the last 6 years, I will probably vote for the democratic govenor and state senator as they are incumbants and are doing a great job. I am not sure about the state house candidates but the moderate repuglican represenitive is worthy of a second look. He also has done an ok job.

I don't believe in Democrat or Republican..I feel it is wrong to discriminate against someone just because their political party electors have messed things up. I believe in the people..and I believe that if the elector, democrat, republican, independent..or what not, should be voted for based on views..not on political party. So..I will be voting for who I trust the most.

In most cases I plan to vote against the incumbents. I wish most voters would consider doing this. Maybe it would send a message to the politicians. That we the people control this country. They work for us not the other way around.

Mostly, however thats only for senator and congressman, due to the issues and records of each, in local issues I will split my vote against all incumbents currently running, as my county governement is not good.

Press the big D button, voting will take 30 seconds. Can you say "Ex-Senator Rick Santorum?" I thought you could.

might vote republican--depends on what their campaign is about. i dont strictly vote demo or rep.....thats silly to me.
need to watch "Man of the Year" with Robin WIlliams. He makes me want to vote for the 3rd party. If the creator of that movie ran for office, I would SO vote for him. Thats the greatest movie Ive seen in awhile- very well written and brings up some excellent points about demo/rep. and issues we have in our country now
