Well, as you can see, noone can provide you the step by step instructions.

That's not because noone know the answer, it's because you don't give any information. If you need help with your modem and router, you need to tell us what model they are!

If you add the details, I will personally look it up for you and give you step by step instructions.

FIRST: You need to find out the IP Address for the ps3, go to settings>Network Settings>>Connection Status list(The first one ^^) and then write down the IP Address, DNS Servers, Default Gateways and all that jazz THEN: SETUP A STATIC IP, Go to Internet Connection Settings and ask for Custom Setup and then pick your Router or w.e THEN CHOOSE TO MANUALLY enter in the Connection Settings (this is where you enter in all the things that you wrote down) For the Secondary DNS just type in a different number for the last number and that should be just fine for the Secondary DNS after that hit OK and you should be done setting up a STATIC IP which you need if you are going to port forward. THEN: You should be able to port forward with no problems and your Ps3 Connections should work just fine.

lol its not that smart but u must do it somtimes I am going to assume your ISP is At&t cause i think they are the only ones that sell the router/modem (i have one and nobody believes that they make them!) anyway if you have what i think you have then open your internet brouser and type:192.168.1.254 into your adress bar then you will get all of your router/modem options including firewall options

Why do you want to do that? are you out of your mind or you have something safer and better to protect your machine from hackers. viruses and the rest?
