Tike, get this straight and don't be foolish about it any more, okay? The basic technology required for a manned flight to the moon was developed in Germany in the late 1930s through the mid 1940s. This technology needed a lot of refinement to make a safe manned flight a reality.
We worked on that technology through the 1950s and 60s, and made the first manned moon flight in 1969. It all fits together, and if you read all the history and don't let the wackos lie to you, it will be impossible for you to continue to be fooled into believing that the moon missions did not take place.
The American people were much better educated and more intelligent in the 1960s and 70s than they are now, and it would never have occurred to NASA engineers and managers that 35 years later a bunch of ignorant dolts with nothing to do would come up with a stupid conspiracy theory stating that the moon landings were faked.
If that had occurred to them, I suspect the engineers would have gone to the trouble to create a larger and more visible object of proof, to compensate for the decline in the quality of the American mind and its education that occurred during and after the Reagan presidency.
But there is a real physical proof available. The astronauts who landed on the moon left behind reflectors that are used every day by astronomers to measure the irregularities of the moon's orbit. This is done by bouncing laser beams off reflectors at known locations that were left by the astronauts. Ask your science teacher for information about these experiments. You can arrange to see this done with your own eyes.
Let me put the question to you this way: If you think the moon landings were faked, when did they become "fake?" When did the idea become popular that NASA had invented the idea of an imaginary moon mission and created a huge technological empire to fool people? When was all this fakery done? In the 60s? 70s? 80s?
And why? What was the point? And how did they fool all the people that reported the news, operated the machinery, built the moon rockets, and watched them take off and land?
Do you realize that one American in 500 was a part of the Apollo program? Millions of them are still alive. Are they fooling you? Why? If you go out to a football game, look around you. In the stadium there are people who worked on the Apollo program.
Ask around. You are surrounded by people who know for sure that American astronauts stood on the moon more than 35 years ago.

1) The "moon race" was an extension of the cold war. It was mostly about national prestige. We got there first and achieved our primary objective. There was some good science: surveys, measurements, sample collection. But it was mostly about being there first. Once we achieved our primary objective, there was no political will to go back. There still isn't. Perhaps, if we discover He3 or something else valuable, there will be.
2) In 1972, there was a politically motivated burglary of a hotel room in the Watergate Hotel in Washington, D.C. There were only about six or eight people who knew about it. However, those people, including Richard M. Nixon, the President of the United States, failed to keep that burglary a secret. It exploded into a scandal that drove the President and a number of others from office.
If six or eight people couldn't keep a hotel room burglary a secret, then how could literally thousands of people could have kept their mouths shut about six faked moon landings? Not just one moon landing, but six of them!
3) Even if NASA and other government agencies could have faked the six moon landings well enough to fool the general public, they could NOT have fooled the space agency or military intelligence types in the USSR. The Soviets were just dying to beat us. If the landings were faked, the Soviets would have re-engineered their N-1 booster and landed on the moon just to prove what liars Americans are. Why didn't they? Because the landings were real and the Soviets knew it.

Moon Landing a Hoax?
Not everyone is convinced that NASA sent people to the moon.
According to a conspiracy theory widely debated on the Internet, the technology did not exist to successfully complete manned missions to Earth's satellite. NASA staged the moon landings in a studio to impress the world that it had beaten the Soviet Union in the ultimate space race.
"Evidence" for the conspiracy includes a lack of stars in the photographs taken by the astronauts on the moon, the repeated use of a staged "backdrop" for photographs taken in different directions, shadows on the lunar surface that appear to be thrown by several sources of illumination, a fluttering U.S. flag (there is supposed to be no atmosphere on the moon), and a suspicious lack of burn marks under the lunar module.
Scientists have an explanation for all these phenomena.
Stars cannot be seen in the background of photographs, they say, because the film was not able to record them in contrast with the bright foreground of the moon and the white-suited astronauts.
The background appears to be the same when seen from different angles because on the airless moon, extremely distant objects appear to be closer than they are. The sun casts shadows that converge in the early part of the day. The flag fluttered because it was being handled by astronauts twisting it into the surface. And the module's rocket was firing relatively gently for a soft landing, so it it did not create a blast crater.
The strongest evidence that people really went to the moon, say scientists, are the rocks and images they brought back—and the astronauts themselves. Every one of them, and the thousands of people on Earth involved in putting them on the moon, has always stuck to the story.

Other than it's not a hoax. All the way down to the mirror that we put there, that to this day reflects a laser light from earth back to earth, so that we can measure the moon's orbit to within inches.
We were there. My grandfather was a quality control and testing engineer, who, among other things, designed and tested the control systems that brought the lunar module back to earth in an orderly manner. Them folks spent a lot of $$ for a way to get back home from some studio lot.
Rather than spell out the details, I'll let these guys tell the story.

I'm not big on conspiracy theories however, anybody with half a brain has to realize the improbability that any one went to the moon in 1969. Just look at how far technology has come since then, if we had really gone to the moon, why aren't we going back? We haven't even mastered the space shuttle missions yet, we are not ready for the moon now, much less 40 years ago.

If you're looking for "proof" that all six of the manned lunar landings were hoaxes, good luck. A lot of nitwits have tried to prove that they were all hoaxes, but this website shoots down each and every one of those so-called proofs ==>http://www.badastronomy.com/bad/tv/foxapollo.html

I was sitting in front of the TV in1969 when Neil Armstrong took the first step on the moon, They did not have the technology to set this up as a fake back then. our whole class followed this every day and wrote letters to NASA and received pictures of the Astronauts. life was simple back then and peopled were more honest and proud of what they did and there achievements.

Many years ago they made a major motion picture called,"Capricorn One," with an all satr cast including O.J. Simpson. If you can find it, it worth seeing for a laugh or two.
