I did when I was 14 and raped. Sorry, cant remember about the bleeding, long time ago. But its a powerful pill,it prevents conception and has a great effect on hormones, hormone fluctuations can easily disturb periods and other things. So,yes.

I've never used them before, but I know some things about them. I know that if a girl thinks she is pregnant from previously having sex, then she shouldnt take the pill, it could kill the baby if she is pregnant. Also, a way to tell the difference between spotting and your regular period, would be to check if you have any of the symptoms that come with the period, and to see if the blood is the same amount. Spotting should be less blood then your period, unless you normally have a light flow....then it will probably be little blood spots on and off. Hope I helped...Im only 16, so probably someone else can answer better then me.

I took the morning after pill without any side effects though. I think it was just called "Plan B". I didn't know about the blood spotting as a possible side effect though I just didnt have any. It oughta say on the sheet that comes with the package but the best person to answer this Q accurately is a health professional.

Blood spotting is obviously not as nearly as heavy as if you were on your period.

angel74 before you start saying i would never its killing a baby first of all do your research before you bash someone for asking an honest question the morning after pill is basically the same thing as birth control it prevents you from becoming pregnant there is no baby killing involved.its designed to prevent an egg from being fertilized.so please do some more research before you answer questions like this.i think it was heartless and mean what you said thank you

Not everyone has side effects. I have taken it twice due to accidents and have had no side effects.
