So Spirit Week is coming up at my school. One of the dress up days include 'Blast From The Past.' I decided I want to dress up like someone from the 1980's. One problem though. I don't know too much about the 80's. If people would be so kind as to give me tips, or links to pictures, websites on how to dress, do my hair, or do my makeup and etc. i would really appreciate it. Thanks. :)

Here are a few web sites i got a kick out of talking about going back in time..Remember to always keep your favorite 80's big hair band close to you..lol...remember to always wear big hair. always remember to wear blue eye shadow..don't forget the bangles,,bracelets..YOU MUST WEAR AQUA NET HAIR SPRAY NOT ONLY FOR THE STIFF LOOK BUT FOR THE SMELL...roflmao..and don't forget the jordache perfume..mini skirts and long sleeve button up shirts pulled out with a belt..high heels ( staletoes)..you must always chomp on gun..pantie hoes with something on the ankle..big ear rings..this was a fun question to answer..

I did I had it long with the underneath pink and I crimped it all in the early 80s, I progressed to the 'Big hair' Bonnie Tyler style later on and used a can of insette hairspray a day!

Ok, in the 80's they had really poofy hair in the back. For the make-up I would do a lot of black around the eyes. And the clothing, I would wear neon, or wild print things. Have fun on spirit week!

Alot of jewelry!!! Lace and color!! Color in hair and a lot of mix and match clothes like one blue sock and one green sock..oh yeah high water pants too. If you are a girl long tight straight skirts. Like the person B4 said google it. Or look at old Madonna albums LOL. Good Luck!

Just don't cut your hair for this. Look up Flashdance the movie. What a great 80's, and thank goodness gone, style. Large hair, large shirt, tight exercise pants, and the most important thing leggens (socks for the ankle). Comfortable and fun to wear. Please no polyester, that was the 70's.

In the eighties you had big mall hair and neon shirts. There was also the bangle rubber bracelets like Madonna wore. The leggings were big and the makeup was mostly blue eyeshadow.

Big hair- curl it or something and also big bangs!
Leg warmers (don't know where'd you even buy them now!)
Layered clothes (turtle neck, button down shirt over that and a sweater over your shoulders)
