All men are technically conscripted to serve 18 months following high school. They can be excused and perform community service for the same period of time for medical reasons, religious restrictions or conscientious objector status.

i dont think so.... thats probably how it used to be in nazi germany but im pretty sure its not like that now... if it was like that now then they'd probably have the 2nd biggest army in the world... china being the biggest because i think they do have every citizen in the army
