I'm shy at school except for a few select classes and I'm outgoing at home, so I guess I'm a reserved person. I'm never ready to share my opinion, especially if it conflicts with everyone else's opinion. I hate public speaking, but I do well when I'm with a group of my best friends. I can be crazy, quiet, outgoing, reserved, courageous or not, and ready to try new things or not... So, when I make friends and they start opening up, I start to also and at home, it's easier to share my opinion because people won't make fun of me... Why is it that whenever someone has seen all of the sides of me, they start to draw back or respect me less and less? I can be lazy or hard-working. I just don't understand. Don't other people act differently in different situations? When I'm more relaxed, my TURE personality SHINES through.

don't know, but sometimes it helps if u worry less about what people think of you and become interested in other people then situations like yours work themselves out

Sounds to me like you have low self esteem. You try too hard to fit in with what you think people want you to be like/think. You should develop/reach your own opinion about things, one that you truly believe in and won't be afraid to voice in public. Acting too different in different situations can make you look fake. You get your strength from those around you, you act in accordance to how they are acting. A person like that can be very draining to hang around with for too long. Get your own personality and stop trying to siphon it off from others.

haha... you sound similar to me. I don't know why people do what they do, but I keep myself closed because the more a person knows me, the more I confuse him... And that confusion turns him against me or makes him bored of me so...
