A golddigger is typically a woman. A guy would be called something like a kept man or he would call his woman a sugar momma. I dont know I guess a guy could be a gold digger but it is mostly used for a woman who wants a man to get her everything.

i think its word to describe girls. if u listen to the radio, you never hear a girl call a guy a golddigger. it depends on the circumstances tho

typically, the word golddigger is meant for women.....it can be used for both tho. Actual def of it is someone seeking only money and wealth
Men marry rich women....so yeah, you can use it for both

I've never heard it used for males, but men engage in the same type of activity. They might call it "marrying up."
