A religion that calls itself peaceful, and yet proscibes to such a thesis is badly flawed

they call themselves muslim but they have a warped view of the world and of themselves. I think we should concentrate on why they feel the way they do, so we can prevent breeding more of them for our own peace and the peace of our children to come.

Suicide bombers do not practice true Islam, they practice a warped fanatical belief system that uses Islam as justification...there is a HUGE difference!
As for disrespect for women...before you start in on Islam take a peak at the Bible...there are verses that very obviously indicate...
~Woman must submit themselves to their husbands...must obey their husbands
~Woman are forbidden from speaking within the church, they are told to wait and ask their husband to explain later
~Women were required to cover their head in church
~Woman were instructed to NOT braid their hair or wear make-up.
~Women are specifically told they are NOT allowed to be teachers over men.
Now are then any churches that enforce this scripture? Very few...some even teach that it was of cultural significance.
SO if you take the bible literally, then as a women your life could seem a bit limited...don't you think?
I am not trying to use this to justify your quote from the Koran (70 virgins) but simply to point out that Christianity also has a history of limiting the lives of women.
Also remember, the disrespect of women within the Koran may seem obvious, but the actual "real-time" disrespect and human rights issues going on today are done by ungodly rulers who twist Islam to justify their cruelty. Not the other way around!
I don't claim to know it all...just wanted to share some thoughts...

They do not have respect for women, and you have to understand something, most of those guys die of old age without having sex, same goes for the women, so there is where the promise comes handy, they'd kill themselves for a goat, and we are talking here about 60 plus.. virgins!!!... wow!!! (there are no details about the virgins, they may get a surprise)

They are definatley muslim. You get 70 virgins. And disrepect to women? To a muslim? dont think so.

There was a comedian on TV who took this theme as part of his act..........

Personally, I cannot help but wonder just where they find so many dead virgins?

no longer Muslims, purely the manipulative b@stards who deliver gullible little ones out to kill harmless human beings. by ability of how, there is sturdy evidence that the 72 virgins is a mistranslation. the unique textual content promised them a captivating bunch of grapes in paradise.

How very sad their life must be if this is what they look forward to, how disrespectful to women of their own religion, but what would they care, they don't have any respect for themselves do they, anyone who thinks killing innocent people for lust is sick.

I believe this is a corruption of the Muslim faith used by people to further their own ends like the Assassins cult of the middle ages.

It is just some propaganda that they are fed in order to get them to commit their act of suicide. It is a misuse of the Koran and those that use it in that way will have a price to pay for their action as well...................
