With so many nuclear powers and North Korea threatening the world, how many years do you think we have before some crazy lunatic decides they want to change the course of the world and sends us into nuclear chaos?

First, the US has already used nuclear bombs against another country, so I assume you mean "again."

Second, I doubt it will be a lunatic, except, of course, from the point of view of the receiving and affected countries. It will be a rational decision, although a desperate one.

That will again be the United States, as it desperately tries to regain the power it has already lost.

Years? What does the dooms day clock read? Hell, at the rate those maniacs from Iran and N.Korea are going, it won't be long before they are both nuclear dust.

There are country's committed to not allowing either of these rogue nations the upper hand in developing nuclear capability. Do not be surprised if we wake up one day to find that one or both have been neutralized. That's a euphemism for destroyed.

We were at conflict and in conflict you take advantage of the flexibility accessible to you to kill the enemy. in the Nineteen Forties there have been no longer a similar constraints there are as we talk. and that i don't think of that Truman completely comprehended the devastation those guns were able to.
