First of all, I am going through a divorce, so my friend told me that I should go as a pissed off bride. So, I bought this cool, strapless, short ripped up white dress. But, I'm not sure if that's going to be the most appropriate costume given my situation. What do you think? If you think it is ok, what would you add to this costume to make it cool/funny? Also, my sister had the idea of us going as Britney and Madonna from the VMA's a few years back. Do you like this idea? Which one would be better?

I would go as the pissed off bride. I would get a picture of your husband and scan it into the computer and draw a ugly face on him, and put it on transfer iron on paper and iron it on the dress; or put it on a bag.

If there is a chance that some of your husband's friends may see you, I would go as a sexy divorce attorney. A short skirt with sexy stockings, nice blouse with a beautiful bra,hair pulled back and glasses. Hold a briefcase and tell people your "client's' husbands balls are inside. If there is a question that people may not know what you are then make up some fun business cards to hand out.

I don't think I'd go as the pissed off bride, I think it's kind of sad- go as Brittany and Madonna, you'll have fun with that and put aside what's going on with your divorce for the night. Otherwise, you're going to have to be telling everyone your business all night long...go & have fun instead!

don't be a pissed of bride it will only trigger really bad memories from what you've put behind you! be something cute and fun and "start a new "year" on halloween"
