Leather? - Better make sure they can not only do a professional job - but also they know how to do it, without weakening the jacket - in the 80's I saw a few guys come off their bikes, hit the track......and the jacket split, starting at the stitching around the patches.

Some alteration shops do that. I had a difficult patch sewn on by an alteration shop one time. Look around and see if there are bike accerie shops in you area. They may do tat we have one here in my city and they sew on patches or at lest have someone they know who does. Ask you local motorcycle dealer if they know of anyone.
