no. anacondas are constricters they are non venomous they wrap around their prey constricting it so every breath the prey takes their lungs get squeezed in and they are unable to breath and then quickly die then the snake dislocates its jaw and puts it over the head of the prey and slowly works its way down from the head down to the tail of the prey. they go this way because it keeps the hair of the prey down. the snake will then laze around doing nothing for a long period time in the sun because it is a cold blooded animal and needs the sun to digest its food if the snake is removed from the sun the prey will literally rot inside of the snake and the snake will die.

there are three types of snakes..constrictors, venomous and the other snakes swallow there prey hole,a good example is a water snake, they grab the fish and head first, swallow it down. The anaconda is a constrictor and is the only true man eater. It can reach 36 feet in the wild and likes to live mostly in the water. They say It can hold it's breath for over an hour but I think it's more like 40 minutes. The Burmese Python comes in second place in a leanth of 28 to 30 feet in the wild. Also anacondas have nasty fast tempers not like the pythons, the ball python having the best temperament

no the way they kill pray is by latching on to it with there teeth(which by the way there teeth curve barkwards..it's harder for the prey to get out that way)Then they wrap around there prey and squezze them. The pressure from squeezing alone breaks bones. A man has actually been swallowed by a snake. And anacondas can open there mouths almost 180 degrees. So steer clear of these animals

It's a constrictor, which means it suffocates its prey. It does not have venom.

You're right. It's a constrictor. It's not poisonous, it just likes to suffocate its prey.

You're absolutely right, they're not venomous. But they can still wrap themselves around you, suffocate you, and probably eat you.
