In 1972 I came into a book on Engraving,it was a concise and informative book covering everything from German Gothic to copperplate script. It has been out of print for decades I'm sorry to say. However if you are serious about the subject I would suggest that you search old book stores and buy as many books on the subject as you can (The reason for that is there is always a nugget of information in one book that you won't find in all your other books.) There is little opportunity to find a teacher in this craft so you are going to have to depend on your own ingenuity.
Teaching lessons online would be like trying to mail you a haircut.
The best thing you can do for yourself is start with a simple book that explains the proper movements, pen angle, nib widths, inks, etc.
To find a book for you go to your library and actually look at some of the books that teach the subject. Pick the book that appeals to you copy out the Author, title, and publisher and take that to a bookstore and order it.
It is best that you start off with a sound foundation and go forward from there. That means starting with the basics and MASTERING the basics. Thats hard work. Do put your hands into your pockets and invest in at least one good book (well illustrated) to get you started. Practice does not make perfect,it makes permanent! In other words "You have to practice properly in order to do what you want properly" I don't care if it's golf or the art of Engraving; you have to practice properly with the right instructions.
This craft is a matter of repetition in strokes and pen movements but when you get it you've got a beautiful hand in the art of Calligraphy.I've been doing this as a hobby for decades and I can assure you it is well worth the effort put into it.
I sincerely wish you well in your endeavers.

I imagine you're probably interested in English calligraphy.

However you should look at this website on Arabic calligraphy,
it might help to get your creative juices flowing.

When you write with the pen you must turn it at different angles, even rotate it somewhat to make the beautiful writing.
