what would be a cool bar to watch the tigers world series games at? i live in the chesterfield township area and would be willing to drive no more then 25 miles. i usually don't go to sports bars so i really don't know where to go. i want someplace with a lot of tv's, somewhat reasonable drink prices and a good crowd of people (mainly 30 yrs old and up). would your recommended bar be crowded on a Sunday or midweek game??

There are a couple nice places in downtown Utica - Not overly crowded, but a good sports crowd. The two places I like the best are Wild Bill's Chicken Ranch and Hatchy's (named after local hockey star Derian Hatcher).

Wild Bill's is a two story bar with a good selection on brews as well as food. They have excellent sauces for their wings and tenders. I like them better then Buffalo Wild Wings.

Hatchy's is cool because at the booth's withing the bar are personal flat screen TVs.

There are a couple other places located within walking distance and "downtown" Utica is North of Hall Rd/M-59, about 1/10 of a mile West of Van Dyke Ave (not the freeway, but the road). There is a light at Van Dyke and Hall Rd and a 2nd one right after it. If heading West on Hall Rd, take a right on Cass Avenue and at the light, you will see Wild Bill's on the NE corner of Cass and Auburn and shortly to the left on Aubrun will be Hatchy's.

Total distance should be about 11 miles.

GO TIGERS!!!!
