I had an 85 IROC 305 high output with a 5 speed unmodded. I had it up to 140 and it could have gone faster. 140 was plenty fast enough for me.

the top speeds of the camaro might be listed as such via the rear end gear ratio. However a stock 305 85 camaro will probably top out in real life around 120-130. Without mods I wouldn't push it that fast though. There are things to consider, safety issues like tire speed ratings and such.

relies upon on what form of camaro and what engine. in case you have slightly V-6 it is going to nnot circulate virtually as rapid a automobile with the 350 T.P.I. and there is alot of floor in between the two engines I truly have a ninety one T/A with a 305 T.P.I. that the Speedometer is going to a hundred and twenty and the vehicle will peg out the speedo with various skill to spare.

not to fast. the emissions control system and exhaust keeps these motors choked up. if you eliminate the emissions control and the stuffy exhaust and maybe even the electronic metering rod carb. you may be able to get 125 to 130 mph. if you have a good strong well taken care of motor. but you will not pass state inspection then.
